Breakthroughs in AI introduce unintended side-effects. I work to enhance availability of AI by preventing misusage and extending its benefits. I pursue Efficient, Reliable, and Accessible Speech & Language Systems.

I am a PhD at the University of Texas at Austin co-advised by Prof. Atlas Wang (VITA group) and Prof. Hyeji Kim (ITML Research Lab).

I was a research intern for Music Foundation Model Team at Sony AI (Tokyo). I recieved my M.S in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Sungkyunkwan University (SKKU), advised by Jong Hwan Ko at IRIS Lab. I was a visiting researcher at Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) LTI advised by Bhiksha Raj and Rita Singh with the MLSP Group. I have also collaborated with David R. Mortensen.
